Santos has a regional operating model with a strong local focus. The Company’s operating structure comprises three regional business units focused on enabling and executing corporate strategy. Two divisions - Santos Energy Solutions and Santos Upstream Gas and Liquids - are accountable for global portfolio management and strategy.
**About the Role**
We are looking for a self-starter who is motivated, proactive and inquisitive by nature. Someone who enjoys working collaboratively and autonomously and thrives on delivering exceptional outcomes for keys stakeholders, both internally and externally.
To be successful in the role you will have the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the business. Manage the day-to-day office operations and ensure an effective, accessible and smooth functioning administrative environment. You will act as the key administrative contact for the leadership team to ensure a coordinated and cohesive leadership group is maintained at all times.
- Support the GLNG Secretariat to communicate with joint venture partners in a clear, concise and transparent manner.
- Support the on-boarding and orientation of new staff.
- Manage accounts payable in the Santos system.
- Liaise with the Chair of the Board and subcommittees on behalf of GLNG OPL CEO (including preparation and distribution of documents through the GLNG Secretariat), as required.
- Monitor the Secretariat inbox and, as soon as reasonably practicable, action all communications with external stakeholders such as the joint venture partners.
- Manage corporate travel.
- Manage and arrange internal and external events
- Responsible for compiling and issuing the JV Weekly Report and JV Monthly Report and supporting OPL Board subcommittees.
- Compliance with the Santos Management System (SMS).
- Compliance with the Santos Delegation of Authority (DOA).
- Compliance with the Santos Corporate Governance and Safety requirements.
**About you**:
- Experience in external influencing roles such as company secretarial positions, procurement, or joint venture advisory.
- Experience interacting at an executive level with CEO, general counsel, board directors and operating committee members.
- Excellent writing and communications skills and experience in joint venture or company reporting.
- Diligence, being organised with attention to detail, ability to work collaboratively in a broad team environment, build relationships both internal and external to the business.
- Governance credentials or legal, engineering or finance support experience.
- Previous experience managing an office or equivalent experience managing a large professional team in a large business.
