**About the role**

You will be a member of the Compliance Reporting Team located in Compliance Programs Unit. This role is part of a team responsible for leading EPA's regulatory response to industry reporting such as the national packaging program and national pollution inventory, aligned to EPA's strategic priorities to prevent harm from pollution and waste. You will use your initiative to prioritise workflow and take part in projects to support the delivery of EPA's compliance reporting programs.

**Duties**

To be successful in this role you will be required to:

- Make confident, independent regulatory decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Provide end-to-end administrative processing of reports received and identify actions where non-compliance exists.
- Prioritise tasks and manage workflow in delivery of state-wide compliance reporting programs, including participation in leading program development.
- Collaborate across EPA and with co-regulators to drive improved environmental and public health outcomes.
- Represent the EPA positively in engaging with the community and duty holders to build knowledge and awareness of EPA regulatory programs.

**Skills and experience**
- Experience in compliance reporting programs
- Knowledge of environmental regulation as it relates to pollution and waste.
- Demonstrated capability to plan, monitor and deliver projects/programs
- Ability to work as an effective team member of a cohesive team, with capability to build and sustain enduring relationships to enable collaborative delivery of outcomes.
