**About the Role**

The People & Culture Business Partner works directly with the business to provide advice and support to a number of client groups on a day to day basis. This role has a blend of strategic and tactical responsibilities such as:

- Tactical BAU activities such as case management, workers’ compensation and performance coaching
- Provide coaching to managers on employee matters and performance management issues
- Support the Senior Business Partner to execute cyclical activities relating to performance management, employee relationships, coaching, organisational development, workforce planning and learning & development.
- Provide 1:1 coaching to develop the leadership capability of operational leaders
- Help drive consistency in employee experience and engagement.
- Lead/ be involved in P&C projects to continue to drive P&C’s impact across HCF, including such areas as performance reviews and development planning

This is a 14 month fixed term contract.

**About you**

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following qualifications, experience and skills:

- Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related discipline desirable
- Strong business acumen
- Ability to give accurate and timely advice on HR policies and practices and the relevant Acts and Awards
- Experience in managing large scale change initiatives
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Highly developed communication and presentation skills
- Essential to demonstrate tact, discretion, diplomacy and confidentiality
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and work under pressure with competing priorities
