Presenting innovative, integrated and custom best-in-class solutions designed to enable sales and marketing professionals to identify, activate and convert the right buyers to achieve their organization's growth goals, this role will influence Company revenue and contribute to profitability objectives.
**Position Summary**:
The **Account Executive** will manage an portfolio to include the development of business plans and implementation of sales strategies in partnership with Customer Experience Managers to enable the sale of global B2B data solutions. The Account Executive will utilize a consultative sales approach that is customized to address the challenges faced in their assigned sales segment portfolio.
**Essential Job Functions "What You'll Do"**:
- Manage a portfolio aligned to your segment throughout the entire sales cycle while building rapport and maintaining relationships through regular interaction with current clients.
- Experience with Lead generation, business development, business acumen with strategic, enterprise and/ or commercial accounts, knowledge of full cycle consultative sales.
- Strategically evaluate your assigned book of accounts based on propensity to purchase derived from key buying signals and ideal customer profile (ICP) indicators to include prioritization, addition and removal of accounts.
- Prospect into new customer marketing/sales channels within the assigned sales segment, identify and strategize new customer initiatives, develop new offerings, promote solution sales models & secure insertion orders.
- Conduct customer facing meetings and bi-weekly calls with an emphasis on discovery, pitching, proposal follow-up, negotiating, closing and renewing contracts to build a pipeline sufficient to meet sales goals and performance expectations.
- Provide pipeline management, business forecasts and relevant performance metrics to report progress to goal(s) by utilizing sales enablement and automation tools.
- Deliver sales results that meet revenue goals and profitability objectives.
- Partner with Customer Experience Managers and other relevant internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for additional lines of business and renewal of contracts.
- Manage and update pipeline utilizing CRM.
**Essential Qualifications "What You'll Need"**:
- Minimum of five years of consultative sales experience with commercial or enterprise accounts, or three years with a Bachelors Degree, managing a book of business, tasked with growing sales from within and a proven sales record in selling demand generation and intelligence solutions to enterprise customers.
- Proven business acumen with a deep understanding of the sales process including knowledge of the challenges faced by strategic digital marketers across a variety of segments.
- Knowledge and experience with business plan development, execution and management with an ability to identify new prospects and solutions to grow the business.
- Experience with program measurement and analytics not limited to opportunities created, forecasting revenue and sales performance.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and/ or annual basis.
- Effective and professional communication skills

- Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills to build and strengthen relationships with stakeholders with a focus on providing exemplary service.
- Demonstrated time management and prioritization skills that demonstrate an ability to organize and multitask while adapting to shifting priorities.
- Demonstrated good judgement, critical thinking, problem solving and negotiating skills to make strategic decisions and leverage resources.
