**About the role**

The General Manager ANZ position is responsible for executing the business growth strategy and building a high performance team culture. You will have accountability for key strategic decisions that optimize sales, operations and product distribution across multiple channels to drive business results, while fostering a positive culture that empowers an engaged workforce and reflects our group values throughout Australia and New Zealand. You will lead positive change at pace and be agile in how you bring structure, strategic direction, process improvement to an ANZ team working across multiple channels including major national retailers in the automotive aftermarket, outdoor adventure retailers, specialty & independents and OEM.

This leadership opportunity is based in Western Sydney, reporting directly to an impressive CEO. With a clearly defined mandate, your role will involve strategically evaluating the current landscape, developing a roadmap for future growth and expansion, and leveraging our existing and planned product portfolio and infrastructure to create new avenues for sustainable growth. As the General Manager ANZ, you will be responsible for key commercial drivers and play a crucial role in providing leadership, guidance, and support to your team and direct reports. You will actively engage with strategic customers to ensure the successful realization of your growth strategy.

As a skilled Commercial leader, you will possess a commanding presence, impactful communication skills, and the ability to win over established and high-performing teams. Managing a profit and loss statement will be within your realm of experience, and you will have comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of business and commercial management. Your experience will stem from an industry renowned for its high customer service standards. Most importantly, your determination and ambition to succeed will be vital, as having the right attitude is paramount.

**Key Responsibilities**:
To be successful in the role, you will need to deliver on the following:

- Execute the business strategy for the ANZ region, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Make critical strategic decisions to enhance sales, finance, and product delivery, ultimately driving business growth.
- Support regional General Managers in the US/Canada and International regions, contributing to their success.
- Engage with strategic customers to understand their needs and ensure the realisation of growth strategies.
- Strategically evaluate the current state of the business, identify areas for improvement, and plan for future growth and expansion.
- Utilise the existing and planned product portfolio and infrastructure to drive sustainable growth opportunities.
- Manage the profit and loss statement, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of business and commercial management.
- Uphold high customer service standards, leveraging industry experience to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop, implement, and review strategic plans for business and growth objectives.
- Build strong and profitable relationships with key accounts through improved & structured JBP, account and category reviews.
- Ensure the customer experience aligns with the brand promise.
- Identify opportunities and formulate plans to reduce costs, improve customer experience, employee satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
- Manage cross-departmental teams across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Customer Service, Training, and Development.
- Efficiently and effectively manage the financial administration/reporting of the business.
- Guide the streamlining of company policies and establish departmental deliverables to support business objectives.
