**About the Role**:
This is a highly visible role that provides financial support to fours Chiefs and 19 GMs and their teams across our corporate office. We are seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated **Finance Business Partner in our Corporate Functions **area.

You will be responsible for:

- Business Partner and act as a trusted adviser to the Corporate Functions Chiefs and their teams, to provide financial information, analysis, and insights; with the ability to challenge and support key stakeholders to enable informed decision making and drive business strategy.
- Ownership and presentation of the monthly performance reports, budgets and forecasts to key stakeholders, including identifying and communicating key risks and opportunities, actionable insights and recommendations.
- Continuously evolve and improve financial performance reporting; as well as undertake education with Corporate functions teams to improve forecasting accuracy.
- Identify and implement continuous improvements by automating and simplifying financial processes.
- Mentor and provide direction and guidance to the Corporate Functions Business Analyst

You will also:

- Support the Business Analyst to ensure they engage with Business stakeholders to identify month end journals required
- Review month end numbers and provide insightful interpretation and analysis to understand key trends, causal factors and timelines across cost centre and Capex/Opex monthly results.
- Work closely with cost centre owners each of the Corporate functions (P&C, Finance, Legal, MD, CoSec, Corp Affairs and Strategy teams) to ensure the integrity of all standard reporting.
- Prepare and present month end Chief packs after each period close

**About you and your skills**:
You possess highly effective communication skills, verbal and written, have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation with the ability to link strategy and financial performance to provide a clear and compelling narrative.

With a sharp commercial skills and growth mindset, you also have;
- Minimum 5+ years PQE
- CA or CPA or similar qualification
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Communications skills both verbal and written
- Experience in production of forecasts and budgets for a large multi division organisation
- Creation and management of comprehensive, complex and structure financial models
- Experience in driving organisational change, influencing key business partners and drive business change
- Experience in analysing data to develop meaningful commercial insights
- Strong stakeholder engagement & interpersonal skills, with prior experience in working with non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong systems literate with advanced modelling skills (including the use of Excel, SAP, TM1). Proficient user of pivot tables, vlookups, macros, nested functions
- Strong ability to succinctly synthesise and present information to influence/inform decision making
