**About the Team**:

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Finance Business Partner to support our Smarter Profit team. With a team of over 400 our finance team offers large scope for personal development and career opportunities. Working with key business units you will gain insight in to how our business runs and be part of key strategic initiatives.

**About the Role**:
The Finance Business Partner will partner with Smarter Profit who are tasked with landing key innovations in stores to help us deliver on a key pillar of our strategy - Customer Obsession. You will be a trusted partner providing key insights to help deliver on this. You’re day to day will include:

- Provide fact-based insight and commentary for BAU performance
- Generate analytics and analyse information to provide actionable insight to stakeholders to drive improved commercial decisions
- Influence business partner decision making with fact based insightful and innovative analysis
- Support the governance surrounding business processes and ensure an appropriate audit trail is maintained. Drive objectives through ensuring business priorities and day to day processes are delivered
- Complete business cases for any new business initiatives, track cost and benefits and undertake PIRs where required
- Set budgets and forecasts and carry out monthly review of results
- Identify and define process & system improvements to enhance ability to deliver on objectives
- Support review and approval of new and existing contracts

**About You and Your Skills**:
We are after a passionate and energetic Finance Business Partner who has the ability to manage competing workloads and deliver the best outcomes for stakeholders. You’ll also need:

- Ideally CA, CPA or similar business qualification
- TM1 experience preferable
- Communication skills, both verbal and written
- Finance experience in a retail/FMCG environment desirable but not essential
- Experience of working with numerous stakeholders simultaneously and influencing non-financial stakeholders
- Proven experience in preparing, understanding and analysing financial information to identify business opportunities/challenges and recommend alternate actions
- Proven ability to challenge & influence key business stakeholders to develop ‘win win’ solutions
