***About the Team**:
Finance makes it easier for us to win together as a business. Our team works side-by-side with every other team to help bring commercial thinking into what they do and make moves that support our strategic business decisions. We have a great opportunity for an experienced **Finance Business Partner** in our finance technology team. With a team of over 400 our finance team offers large scope for personal development and career opportunities. Working with key business units you will gain insight in to how our business runs and be part of key strategic initiatives.

**About the Role**:
The Finance Business Partner will partner with Technology business units. This is a highly visible role, playing a key part in influencing, coaching and engaging across the Technology team and wider finance team to support Technology decision making, Business Initiatives and financial management. You’ll also:

- Review period end numbers and provide insightful interpretation and analysis to understand key trends, causal factors and timelines across cost centre and Capex/Opex monthly results.
- Budget delivered on time with mínimal reconciliation issues or rework.
- Preparation of Budget Packs for both internal and external stakeholders
- Accountable for individual and team compliance with company values, policies and procedures (including Coles Code of Conduct) and all applicable external laws and regulations.
- Support the governance surrounding all business processes and ensure an appropriate audit trail is maintained. Drive objectives through ensuring business priorities and day to day processes are delivered

About You and Your Skills

We are after a passionate and energtic Finance Business Partner who has the ability to manage competing workloads and deliver the best outcomes for stakeholders. You’ll also need:

- Ideally CA, CPA or similar business qualification
- Communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience of working with both financial and non-financial stakeholders
- Finance experience in financial control, FP&A and/or commercial decision support
- Experience in a multi-business unit environment
- Finance experience within a Technology team or environment desirable
- Experience of financial KPIs across the P&L, balance sheet and cash flow
