**About the team**:
Finance makes it easier for us to win together as a business. Our team works side-by-side with every other team to help bring commercial thinking into what they do and make moves that support our strategic business decisions.

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join our Meat Retail Finance team on a permanent basis. Commercially partnering with one of our key commercial lines, allowing us to deliver on our promise of customer obsession.

**About the Role**:
You will partner with the meat retail merchandise teams to help deliver on sales, margin, and cost targets. Harnessing strong stakeholder relationships you will be a key commercial partner to the business function and offer commercial insight. You will also;
- Identify opportunities to drive sales over and above plans
- Influence business decision making with fact based insightful and innovative analysis
- Ensure plans are in place to deliver the strategic objectives of the Business Unit
- Identify and define process and/or system improvements to enhance ability to deliver on objectives
- Drive insight and ROI analysis for transformational projects and business cases
- Track key initiatives and promotions to ensure they are on target to delivered expected outcome
- Develop initiatives to improve profit and customer outcomes
- Liaise with Meat Production team to provide insight and understanding of impacts to P&L from livestock and production costs

**About you and your skills**:
We are looking for a passionate Finance Business Partner that understands the value of harnessing strong commercial relationships and can make an impact on key projects. You will also;
- CA/CPA or similar business qualification or near with commercial awareness and business focus
- Experience in the Retail or FMCG sectors will be highly regarded, alternatively a big 4 or mid-tier environment
- Proven experience in preparing, understanding and analysing financial information to identify business opportunities/challenges and recommend course of action
- Proven ability to challenge & influence key business stakeholders (finance and non-finance) to achieve best for business outcomes
- Experience of presenting financial information concisely which focuses on drawing out insight
- Experience of owning end-to-end planning process
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation with a focus on commercial partnering
- Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
- System literacy; experience of developing dashboards in PowerBI or similar desirable
