We have a great opportunity for an experienced Finance Business Partner on a Six Month Fixed Term Contract to support our Smarter Profit team. With a team of over 400 our finance team offers large scope for personal development and career opportunities. Working with key business units you will gain insight in to how our business runs and be part of key strategic initiatives.
**About the Role**:
The Finance Business Partner will partner with Coles Financial Services. You will be a trusted advisor and provide key financial insight to BAU and project activities. You’re day to day will include:
- Ownership of CFS P&L, preparation and reporting of monthly financial performance, assisting business leaders in meeting their set budgets & targets
- Lead business and Finance management through forecasting & planning cycles (annual budgets & corporate plan)
- Influence business leader decision making with fact-based insightful and innovative analysis, including for new product launches
- Lead the financial relationship with external business partners (NAB and IAG)
- Identify and implement continuous improvement, by automating and simplifying financial processes and analysis
**About You and Your Skills**:
We are after a passionate and energetic Finance Business Partner who has the ability to manage competing workloads and deliver the best outcomes for stakeholders. You’ll also need:
- Ideally CA, CPA or similar business qualification
- Experience working with complex organisations, preferably within financial services
- TM1 experience preferable
- Communication skills, both verbal and written
- Finance experience in a retail/FMCG environment desirable but not essential
- Experience of working with numerous stakeholders simultaneously and influencing non-financial stakeholders
- Proven experience in preparing, understanding and analysing financial information to identify business opportunities/challenges and recommend alternate actions
- Proven ability to challenge & influence key business stakeholders to develop ‘win win’ solutions
