**What You Will Be Doing**

Our Allied Health Assistants are an essential and valued part of our occupational therapy teams across Peninsula Health. You will work closely with our team of rehabilitation occupational therapists to promote excellent clinical care, interventions and discharges.
Clinical areas that you may experience are neurology, orthopaedics, amputees, cardio-respiratory and palliative care. Our AHAs play a significant role in the sourcing and provision of equipment, retraining in daily occupations, upper limb therapy programs and patient education.

**What You Need**

We anticipate you will have:

- Minimum qualification of Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance from an RTO.
- Experience working in acute or rehabilitation inpatient setting
- Demonstrated understanding of the goals and priorities of occupational therapy within a hospital setting.
- Ability to provide individual therapy and education to patients as prescribed by the occupational therapist.
