At Plain English Foundation, we help professionals to improve their business writing skills and communicate clearly through our tailored training and editing services.

Over the past 20 years, we have trained over 30,000 professionals and evaluated over 50,000 documents for more than 400 organisations. Our editors work on influential projects for an extensive range of government and private clients.

Did you know that online engagement across government and business has risen significantly in the last 2 years, increasing the need for clarity? With this increased need, we are growing and looking for a proactive Sales Development Representative to join our team.

**The role**
The Sales Development Representative is responsible for connecting with prospective clients to help them develop their Plain English capabilities. Your responsibilities will include:

- sourcing leads for clients that are not currently on our platform and initiating communication
- updating all sales activities, opportunities and account information on our CRM
- discovering qualified opportunities by responding to inbound interests and targeted outbound prospects
- building rapport and establishing long-term relationships with our clients.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

- experience in and enjoy working towards KPIs and targets
- experience working collaboratively to succeed as a team
- experience working with CRMs, preferably Microsoft Dynamics
- negotiation skills with a focus on strategic joint-business planning
- a resilient, competitive and target-driven nature
- the ability to think on your feet
- a passion for innovating and working collaboratively
- a passion for networking with like-minded companies who believe professional development is core to surviving in the ever-changing business world.
