Mergent has an immediate requirement for multiple Data & Communication Technicians to bolster the current FIFO project team based out of Roxby Downs to complete the upgrade of security and communication infrastructure.

On offer are return flights from Adelaide Airport and full camp conditions (e.g. provisions for flights, individual accommodation, meals and laundry) for an initial 3-month contract up until Christmas break. Working to a 12 hours per day, 14:7 roster (day shift only), we are expecting an opportunity to pick up a further work package that would extend to the end of 2023.

**Key Requirements**
- Open Registration (with Structured Cabling & Optical Fibre endorsements)
- Current Drivers Licence
- Work Safely at Heights (current within 4 years)
- Licence to Perform High Risk Work; EWP
- Construction Industry White Card
- First Aid Certificate
- Double COVID 19 Vaccination Certificate

**Desirable**
- BHP/Olympic Dam clearances
- Fibre Splicing experience
- Experience working with Cat6A cable
- Comms Scope accreditation (highly desirable)

**Rates**
- $51.22 - $55.31 per hour + Super for each and every hour worked
- Weekly pay cycle. Superannuation paid monthly
- Averaging approximately 160 hours per fortnight on a 14:7 roster
- All tools and PPE provided by the host client
