How you'll make an impact


North platform growth is a key strategic growth option for AMP with plans to significantly increase cashflows over the next 5 years.

This role is accountable to develop and implement a suite of initiatives to help Business Development Managers, New Business Managers, North Training Consultants and especially Advisers and Adviser Support staff use North Online effectively and with confidence.

The key areas of focus are;

  • Implement process to understand knowledge gaps or upskilling opportunities for advisers and support staff
  • Design, implement and deliver training to help advisers and adviser support staff use North online effectively and with confidence
  • Collaboration with Wealth Distribution, Product and Platform teams to improve quality of help and support material on North online

Main Focus Areas:

  • Strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders; other North Operations team, Wealth Distribution, technology, product/ platform, advice and enterprise risk management
  • Virtual training delivered in line with agreed schedule
  • Enhancements to help and support material on North online delivered in line with agreed schedule
  • Prepare presentations, videos and educational content for delivery to support advice practices
  • Provide a holistic approach to deliver change to the advice network by scoping, estimating and planning streams of work according to IT/change business requirements
  • Engage in data analysis to target efficiency in education
  • Develop and implement solutions to improve the adviser experience using North online
  • Foster continuous improvement by identifying enhancements, develop solutions and promote best practice
  • Provide deep SME and technical expertise to business problems to support change projects
  • Deliver effective education campaigns

What you will bring to the team
Ideally, you will bring the following experiences to this role:

  • Green/ black belt training certification
  • High knowledge of North products and systems
  • Experience in effectively reporting, interpreting data and presenting to stakeholders
  • Experience in identifying opportunities to improve and designing solutions
  • Experience in leading development projects and implementing change
  • Experience in leading face to face or virtual coaching and training
