**About the role**:
The End User Compute and Print Administrator role is responsible for providing broad-ranging Tier 2 support to users utilising a range of end user services (including the managed operating environment and software, delivered locally and remotely) to troubleshoot and resolve moderate to complex issues across the organisations’ ICT environment and escalating complicated/problematic issues in a timely manner in line with service level agreements.

**About you**:

- At least 2 years’ experience in a Microsoft centric end user compute environment and skills in print management, software installations, remote support and configuration.
- Utilise appropriate tools and methods to triage and resolve user support tickets and return user’s ICT systems and devices to standard service condition.
- Accurately record, action and update changes, problems, incidents and service requests using FRNSW's IT Service Management tool in line with ITIL practices.
- Create and maintain support documentation (knowledgebase) to assist others in restoring services and reduce the impact of unplanned outages.
- Work with key vendors and escalate tickets as required for support activities.
- Participate in maintaining Cyber Security posture by contributing to allowlisting activities, and reporting breaches and risks to assist in mitigation of threats.
- Investigate offline and rogue devices and return them to standard service condition.
- Contribute to root cause analysis and preventative failure of equipment.
- As required, travel to fire stations and FRNSW office locations across NSW to provide support or equipment installation.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Current and valid driver’s license and a willingness/ability to drive anywhere within NSW in a FRNSW vehicle.
- A Certificate IV in a relevant discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
- Required to participate on an after-hours and/or on call roster on an as needed basis.
