Basketball Event Organiser

**Want to help run basketball games?**

We run a variety of basketball games at different times and locations each week.

**About You**:
You are love basketball
You are available Monday, Tuesday & Thursdays 5.30pm - 10pm. Saturday 12pm - 4pm
You have experience in the basketball sports industry, as a **REFEREE**
You love talking to people
You have been described as approachable, outgoing and fun.
You have a positive attitude and a keen eye for details
You have a mature mindset, can take responsibility & criticism in your stride.

**Team Experience**
Welcome and check in Basketball613 Members
Get feedback from players to help improve games, debrief to the Manager after games
Oversee the retention of players for the next season
**_Help bond players together for their games_**

**Game time**
Keep the game running on time and help with substitutions
Referee any calls the players cannot agree on
Take a couple of team photos during the game

**The role**
This role requires administration and customer service for our members but mostly facilitating a fun experience.
This role is 6-8 hours per week.
Although you won’t be required to work these hours every night/day week to week. Being available between those times is essential.
There may be a few jersey items to quick rinse and dry for next game

**Package details**:
$35 per hour
Opportunity to play at any of our competitions when teams are short numbers for games
Basketball613 shirts and hoodies

**Nice to haves**:
First Aid Certificate
Events/Marketing/Sales experience
Experience posting stories and photos on social media
Ability to play games where attendance is low

**Salary**: $35.00 per hour
