**The Company**:
This dynamic and innovative Association is dedicated to organising and delivering exceptional experiences and creating lasting impressions through events for their members. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join their team as the Head of Events to manage the events team as well as oversee all the events for the organisation.

**Position Terms**:

- Permanent Full-Time Role, hybrid working available
- Salary $125,000 - $145,000 depending on experience

**The Role**:
The Head of Events will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and success of the entire events calendar. From conferences to awards dinners, virtual events for members and more, the Head of Events will lead a team of event professionals to ensure each event is executed flawlessly and aligns with the Association's objectives.

Key Responsibilities include;
- Develop and implement comprehensive event strategies that align with the Association's goals and objectives.
- Lead and mentor a team of event coordinators, managers, and support staff to ensure seamless execution of events.
- Manage event budgets, negotiate contracts with vendors, and monitor expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Coordinate with marketing and communications teams to promote events and maximize attendance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand event requirements and tailor experiences to meet their needs.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors, venues, and other external partners to enhance event quality and diversity.
- Evaluate the success of each event through post-event analysis and feedback, and implement improvements for future events.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance event strategies and offerings.
- Ensure all events are delivered in line with revenue targets and budgetary costs.
- Lead, mentor and coach team members to achieve organisation objectives, financial targets, and professional goals.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve excellence.
- Exceptional organisational and time management abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in event management software and tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and deliver innovative event experiences.
- Experience working across a range of different types of events, including but not limited to conferences, award ceremonies, summits, workshops, seminars/webinars and fundraising events.
- Experience managing in-person, virtual and hybrid events is required for this role as a lot of the Associations events are run virtually.
