**What you'll be responsible for**:

- Oversee and manage activities across the following areas: Landfill rehabilitation and aftercare, Planning and design, Infrastructure development, Environmental compliance, Managing and controlling nuisances, Equipment maintenance, Administration and weighbridge functions
- Undertake risk assessment and hazard identification to support operational initiatives
- Implement visible leadership processes to assess and promote health, safety and environmental compliance at the landfills
- Ensure the health and safety of all employees, contractors and visitors to the landfill sites
- Ensure environmental compliance at the landfill sites is maintained and at the forefront of
- all decisions

**What you'll need to be successful**:

- Experience in landfill management, including design, constructions and operations experience
- Demonstrated understanding of relevant environmental legislation and familiarisation with
- EPA NSW requirements
- systems
- Proven leadership skills - with experience managing operational staff
- management and site rehabilitation
- Drivers Licence and the ability to drive a manual vehicle
