**About the Role**

We are looking for someone to join our Education and Training team. Our Education and Training team deliver a range of state and federally funded training programs from locations in the Sydney Metropolitan Area and Queensland. Our programs are structured to provide participants with the skills they need for meaningful work and further education opportunities.

Reporting to the General Manager, Education and Training, the Education and Training Account Manager will be responsible for managing and building a portfolio of accounts, which drive performance and customer referrals in our government funded programs. The Education and Training Account Manager will work to meet financial performance goals, by actively engaging with key stakeholders across the employment services and community sector, establish new accounts which lead to the growth of our programs, and negotiate additional training opportunities for our stakeholders.

Duties include:

- Build and maintain successful relationships with referring agencies and other stakeholders to promote government funded programs.
- Establish exclusive, formal partnerships with referring agencies to ensure MTC becomes a training Provider of choice in the market.
- Work diligently to ensure monthly referral KPIs for all programs are met/exceeded.
- Log promotional and marketing activities, including referrer engagement on MTC’s CRM.
- Produce detailed reports which provide market Intelligence on customer needs and competitor analysis.
- Gather information about new market trends to ensure that MTC’s government programs service delivery models align with changes in the labour market/Employment Services sector.
- Promote MTC's government programs by presenting service offerings to our stakeholders and at interagency meetings throughout the network.
- Engage and participate in MTC meetings and functions.

**About You**:
The ideal applicant we are seeking will have:

- 5 years-experience in the Employment Services sector or related industry
- Proven success in sales, account management or business development role within a business-to-business service environment.
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills with a strong emphasis on negotiating, persuading, and influencing others to drive marketing and business development activities with key stakeholder groups.
- Target driven mindset with experience in successfully promoting government programs and achieving referral KPI’s.
- Strong organisational skills: Able to plan-ahead and work in a systematic and organised way while following directions and procedures.
- Comprehensive knowledge of:

- Employment Services (Workforce Australia and DES) contracts.
- DEWR SEE, CTA, EST and SEA programs.
- Smart & Skilled NSW
- Profit and loss concepts.
- Social and economic issues facing customers.
- Relevant legislation including Anti-discrimination, Equal Employment Opportunity, Workplace Health and Safety, Privacy and Freedom of Information.
- Online data management and CRM systems.
- Local labour market trends and skills shortages.
