**We are looking for**
- Ability to complete projects within agreed timeframes and performance standards while also managing a fluctuating workload of other tasks.
- Provide timely and tailored advice and support to ACI and OHMR staff regarding access to and assessment of available scientific evidence.
- Managing the expectations of diverse stakeholders with competing priorities.

**About us**

The Agency for Clinical Innovation (ACI) leads innovation in clinical care across NSW. We do this by bringing clinicians, patients and healthcare managers together to design and implement new ways to deliver healthcare.

**What you will be doing**

The Evidence Officer works collaboratively with key stakeholders to complete and provide advice on evidence reviews.

**Employment Type**: Full Time - Temporary for a period up to 31 December 2024
**Position Classification**: Health Manager Level 3

**Remuneration**: $122,850.00 - $139,559.00 per annum excluding Superannuation
**Hours Per Week**: 40 (38 standard + 2hrs toward ADO)

**Selection Criteria / Questions**
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field or equivalent; and experience in a searching bibliographic databases, using reference management software, and producing accurate and succinct evidence summaries.
- Demonstrated experience in undertaking literature searches using multiple databases to inform decisionmaking in health service delivery.
- Demonstrated experience to undertake thorough and rigorous critical appraisal and synthesis of research evidence.
- Demonstrated ability and experience in project management.

**COVID-19 Vaccination Compliancy**

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). Additionally, Category A workers are required to receive a booster dose three months after completing the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate (IM011 immunisation medical exemption form) certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
