**About the Role - Project Officer, Capital**

As a member of the Capital Projects team the Project Officer will work with other team members in the planning and delivery of various capital projects across any of Monash Health's sites and catchment.The Project Officer will be responsible for supporting the delivery of capital and relocation projects within the Capital and Infrastructure portfolio. The role will report to the key project leads under the auspice of the Director, Capital and Infrastructure and work with the Capital team members on a day to day basis.

The Capital team are responsible for an extensive range of large major projects but also various important smaller value but complex projects including refurbishments of departments and clinical areas. There is also a program of work that will see the establishment of a large new leased site involving capital works, establishment of the site and staff relocations. The Project Officer will work within a team structure to support the various projects in planning and implementation. The role will have key responsibility for day to day coordination, engagement of stakeholders and communications, coordination of meetings and project activities and producing key project documentation in the support of the delivery and implementation of projects

**About Capital at Monash Health**

The Project Officer role will be responsible for supporting the planning and delivery of major refurbishments and capital development projects across multiple Monash Health sites being led by Monash Health and the Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA).Key projects currently being delivered by the Capital Projects team include:

- The Kingston Residential Aged Care project ($134.6m) a 150 bed new residential aged care facility located on the Kingston Centre site
- The Cranbourne and Pakenham Community Hospitals, located at Cranbourne and Pakenham respectively. Cranbourne is due for delivery in 2025
- Other projects ranging from refurbishments of clinical areas, clinical support areas and corporate spaces.
- There are multiple smaller but complex projects that are being managed by the Capital team.

**About You**

You will be a proactive and driven individual with:

- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to work within a team environment and support other team members on a day to day basis
- Engagement and coordination across internal and external stakeholders as required
- Detailed documentation skills in support of project delivery including meeting documentation and minutes
- Support project governance and reporting, including project updates, managing risk registers, project action logs and other project reporting
- Support projects through procurement activities and other administrative functions

**What You Need**:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/ or experience in project management or related area
- Victorian Driver’s License
- Evidence of ongoing professional development and qualifications
- Qualifications in Project Management highly regarded
