**Job Description**:
We are looking for a motivated Operations Services Manager to join the Starbucks Australia team. Reporting through to the Head of Operations, you will be instrumental in supporting our national store network to achieve standards reflecting operational excellence and successfully balance the needs of Starbucks partners (employees), customers, and the broader business.
- Work with an iconic global retail brand with ambitious growth plans. We are targeting a network of greater than 100 stores in the next three years
- Located at Starbucks Head Office in Cremorne, Melbourne with flexible working arrangements and café onsite
- Working with the Head of Operations to make positive and impactful changes that will support our store network.

This role will include:

- Collaborating across functional groups to provide operational expertise and coordination while balancing the needs of partners, customers, and the business.
- Gatekeeper for quality and timing around the execution of programs and initiatives across the network.
- Supporting new operational projects and the development of business plans
- Leading the planning, development, and implementation of systems and programs
- The creation and implementation of operations improvement processes
- Working closely with the Head of Operations and Head of Coffee Engagement to coordinate and deliver operations events, such as competitions, conferences and store network events.
- Establishing and coordinating new store projects and providing weekly updates to key stakeholders.
- Plays a critical role in the creation and delivery of operational and learning & development training
- Supporting the sustainability programmes developed with Starbucks.
- Ensuring Quality Assurance
- Business cross functionality; working with and supporting a national operations team of 11

**Qualifications**:

- Extensive experience in senior operational and project management positions at a national/state/divisional level
- Retail, Food & Beverage, Petrol or Convenience industry background preferable
- Tertiary qualification, in business, sales and marketing or related discipline is preferred.
- Proven business project and programme leadership experience
- Strong interpersonal skills; building relationships with co-workers, stakeholders and third parties
- A strategic mind with sound analytical skills
- Strong understanding of CMMS systems, Excel, Powerpoint and Smartsheets
- Natural leadership skills, a curious personality and someone who thrives under pressure in a competitive retail environment
- Strong organisational skills; be methodical and able to effectively manage and prioritise multiple projects and reporting at once
- Great at building strong interpersonal relationships with co-workers, suppliers, stakeholders and third parties
