**Office Manager**

The Office Manager will be the right hand to the Office Operations Manager in our Brisbane office. A key component of the role is to take ownership of creating a suitable and enjoyable working environment for all of our employees, and be the primary contact for all things people and environment in the office. They will be highly resourceful and reliable, helping to manage the Brisbane office, as well as the remote employee experience. The Office Manager reports to the Office Operations Manager and is part of the global Office Operations team.

**This is a 6 month fixed-term contract role, based in Brisbane.**

**Key Responsibilities**

Reception
- Be the main point of contact to answer & direct calls, greet and direct visitors and vendors, receive deliveries and catering.
- Assist with scheduling as required.

Physical Workspace
- Take ownership and pride in our physical workspace, driving improvements to suit our evolving needs. The Office Manager is responsible for general upkeep, cleanliness, and supply management of the office.

Employee Experience
- Bring a creative and fun element to our office by organising events and making enhancements to our workspace. Make new employees feel welcome; organise new hire packs, prepare workspaces. Decorate office for events throughout the year.

Vendor Management
- Work with a variety of food vendors to make sure our kitchen is stocked and food is ordered for lunches and various meetings. This will include virtual support for our office in Sydney.
- Source & evaluate new vendors to help improve processes within the Office Ops space.

Travel Management
- Book and manage travel for our Australian Team as well as any local support for international visitors.

Accounting & People Ops Support
- Assist Accounting with transactional reconciliation and timely payment of invoices.
- Work seamlessly with the People Ops team to ensure an excellent onboarding & offboarding experience at a cultural & practical level.

Special Projects
- Manage ad-hoc special projects.

**Requirements**:

- Experience as an Office Manager, Receptionist, EA or Operations Assistant in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Experience in hospitality & event management is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, high attention to detail & a proactive approach to work.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and spirit: we win as a team, we move fast and we get things done.
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, slides, calendaring and scheduling tools.
