
Wills Officer

We are looking for two Wills Officers to join the Customer Experience and Delivery team in Brisbane and Brendale Wills Unit. As Wills Officer, you will primarily be involved in Will making and preparing Enduring Powers of Attorney documents for customers and involves some autonomy in providing and assisting in the provision of timely and appropriate service and advice to customers. The service may be offered from Head Office (Brisbane) and Brendale and/or by attending other sites including courthouses, other government offices, homes, hospitals, other care facilities or other sites.
**Your key responsibilities include**:
- Prepare legal documents, primarily Wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney
- Provide customers with information relating to will making, Enduring Powers of Attorney, estate planning, the administration of estates and trusts and the management of the affairs of people with a disability
- Provide information in relation to the services and products of the Office to the public
- Provide administrative support for the regional office as required
- Contributing to a positive and safe work environment by modelling conduct that is culturally capable, inclusive, respectful, and ethical
- Keeping yourself and others safe and well
- Other duties as required.
Mandatory requirements/Special conditions
Possession of a current 'C' class driver's license is essential to this role.
