Claims Team Leader

**About the Role**
The Claims Team Leader is responsible for managing a team of Claims Officers responsible for the review and processing of outcome payments and progress payments for a range of employment service programs, including Workforce Australia, Transition to Work, ParentsNext and Disability Employment Services, and ensuring eligible outcomes and progress payments meet all policy and Deed requirements.
You may be required to work a roster between the hours of 8am - 6:30pm Monday to Friday. Need unique hours? We might be able to accommodate so please ask
**About You**
To be successful in these roles you will be able to:
- Coach, mentor and motivate the team to ensure all they meet performance and compliance requirements four outcome and other payment processing.
- Provide high level support and advice to claims staff to assist in actioning complex outcome payments.
- Provide high level support and advice to claims staff to assist in actioning complex progress payments.
- Monitor team and individual staff performance to ensure performance measures are met.
- Engage, motivate and train staff to provide high quality services and provide regular performance feedback.
- Monitor claims team workload ensuring timeframes are met and quality is maintained.
- Collaborate closely with the Claims and Payments Manager to identify gaps in performance, manage changes and recommend organisational training and development.
- Ensure all contractual requirements are met, including timely recording of case notes and reporting of payments.
- Ensure administration requirements and reports are accurate and up to date and provide reports and other information to management as required.
- Support all other internal stakeholders with advice on placements and outcomes for all programs.
- Ensure the delivery of the service and interactions with stakeholders is positive, professional, and in line with Workskil Australia Values, Code of Conduct, Deed, Guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Adhere to the Integrated Management System and assist with continuous improvement activities.
You will also be required to:
- Hold a minimum Certificate IV in Leadership and Management.
- Have at least three years’ experience in the Employment Services industry with a strong background in claims and employer payments.

**Remuneration**
A competitive salary will be negotiated commensurate with skills and experience. As Workskil Australia is a public benevolent institution, we can also offer a portion of the salary through tax effective salary packaging.
