**About The Role**

Reporting to the General Manager Safety & Wellbeing, the Safety and Wellbeing Specialist is responsible for partnering with executives and Leaders within Work division to understand and contribute to their strategic objectives, identify areas of opportunity and implement safety and wellbeing improvements and initiatives to support the achievement of organisational objectives and business unit priorities. Duties include:

- Provide specialist advice and guidance to ensure full compliance with Workplace Health and Safety policies, procedures, instructions and relevant legislation.
- Lead and oversee the planning and execution of WHS projects and initiatives, using recognised project management methodologies and tools to ensure projects are successfully delivered to achieve desired outcomes and organisational objectives.
- Provide expert advice on safety and wellbeing matters to support operational
requirements.
- Work with business stakeholders to appropriately assess risks and identify
effective and efficient controls and innovative solutions to manage identified risks.
- Have oversight of incidents and internal audit outcomes and
work collaboratively with the Operations team to identify opportunities for control improvements and work with the business to ensure such actions are
implemented.

**About You**
- Relevant Degree, Diploma in Workplace Health and Safety or similar.
- ICAM Lead Investigator or Taproot Incident Investigation qualification.
- Exceptional relationship management, interpersonal and communication skills with an engaging and inspiring communication style.
- Demonstrated project management skills, including experience with leading, implementing and evaluating projects and initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work through data and safety issues to identify problems, opportunities, and solutions.
- Strong facilitation and coaching skills, with demonstrated ability to use digital platforms to facilitate online meetings, workshops or training sessions.
- Experience in Manufacturing or Human Services industries would be highly regarded.
