About the role

The Marketing Optimisation Lead will assist with embedding best practice metrics of success, campaign planning, testing, reporting and optimisation in all of our customer journeys and campaigns to deliver measurable benefits.

Our Marketing Optimisation Lead, will contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our cities and communities. It’s meaningful, challenging and exciting work.
- This is a permanent ongoing opportunity. This role can be done as full-time or part-time as a 4-day week or 9-day fortnight._

Day-to-day, you will:

- Create, maintain and deliver a backlog of test and learn, and other optimisation activities with a focus on building robust and automated reporting processes.
- Act as the reporting and optimisation stream lead in cross-functional projects and squads. You’ll provide advice of best practice metrics and work with stakeholders to ensure conversion and customer engagement data is available.
- Establish a robust, automation reporting system to monitor conversion across customer journeys to demonstrate value to the business and customers.
- Monitor existing communications dashboards and reports, as well as identify and deliver on opportunities to provide actionable insights into communications conversions and customer engagement.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to provide recommendations, ensure alignment with expectations, provide guidance and act as an advocate for data-led decision making.

This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:

- Extensive experience in marketing communications optimisation and reporting. Any exposure to a digital communications distribution platform, such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, is highly preferable.
- You possess the skills and experience to transform reports into actionable, value-adding insights and recommendations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills paired with the curiosity to find better ways of doing things.
- Skills in critical thinking, analytical ability and problem solving, with the ability to overlay business acumen to developed insights and recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with a variety of people.
- A builder of relationships, you won’t be afraid to challenge the status quo, helping to problem solve through your ability to understand process and coordinate various moving parts.
