About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Client Services Coordinator for Youth Services program to deliver high quality services to young people connected to the Barwon South/West region. You will work in conjunction with the management team within the Northwest Metro to deliver the Journey to Independence Model to all youth services clients and represent Youth Services in the across the Barwon Region.
Responsibilities Include
- Direct client practice work are carried out in peak periods or during staff absences
- Oversee administration of resources including brokerage support to clients of service
- Develop positive relationships with stakeholders and the community
- Monitor performance of the team against TSA key performance indicators
- Participate in daily briefings to ensure clients and goals are met
- Deliver regular supervision to staff and facilitate regular team meetings
- Ensure clients interests of NWMYS and TSA are effectively represented
- Participate in TSA Youth Stream Leadership meetings, ensure Barwon region is reflected in this space
This is a permanent full-time position, based in Geelong and Sunshine, VIC. This position may require you to participate in program on call roster. Salary and conditions are in accordance with SCHADS Level 6.
What you will have
- Degree qualification in Social Work, Social Sciences or related field required
- Experience in delivering case management practice within the homeless service system
- Strong understanding of refuge/residential service provision
- Excellent organization and administrative skills with capacity to balance workload and
- Determine priorities while also addressing the needs of crisis accommodation environment
- Demonstrated experience in the management and leadership of staff
- Strong verbal and communication skills
- Working with Children's Check
- National Police Check
- Current Victorian Driver’s Licence
