**About the role**

Reporting to the Head of Sales '“ Independents & Field Sales, you will be responsible for leading, developing and inspiring our Outbound Sales Team to deliver the National Independent Channel sales plan for Independent retail & On-premise customers.
- Develop and implement KPIs & key initiatives aligned to our business objectives for the Inside Sales and National Customer Sales teams.
- Monitor and analyse key sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement effective strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee the development and implementation of training programs to enhance the sales and customer service skills of team members.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key sales stakeholders to ensure we are driving growth for their channels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business goals. Prepare and present to senior stakeholders to provide updates on sales performance, market trends and strategic initiatives.

**About you**

We are seeking an enthusiastic and engaging leader who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Your grit and determination, ability to build and develop relationships and high levels of creativity set you apart. You will have considerable sales experience in FMCG, a passion for wine would be a bonus too
- Demonstrated track record of success in sales roles, preferably in a similar industry or environment.
- Possess strong business acumen with a deep understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively, fostering collaboration, motivation, and accountability.
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-centric mindset, with a keen focus on understanding and meeting customer needs and expectations. Commitment to quality and a proactive approach to addressing issues with a sense of urgency to drive results.
