We are seeking an **Injury Management Specialist **looking for their next challenge who is motivated and strives to provide the highest quality of customer service to clients.
Working as an Injury Management Specialist, you will be a local resource working for one of our key accounts, an ASX listed industry leading financial services company. You will be providing specialised support on a mix of physical and psychological claims across Victoria and NSW, providing virtual and face to face contact with a focus on early, durable return to work services.
Day to day you will be:
- Effectively support and assist employees with work related injuries and conditions to recover at/return to work;
- Provide expert advice and guidance relating to workers compensation claims;
- Working with injured/ill employees, their Manager, treating doctors and insurer to achieve positive health outcomes;
- Managing referrals and actioning within required timeframes;
- Lodging claims, attending claim strategy reviews including THP & NTDs when required;
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement return to work plans; and
- Take the lead on national return to work and injury prevention initiatives.

**About You**:
- Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist or Rehabilitation Counsellor (relevant registration required). _Please note an allied health qualification is preferred but not required;_
- Previous employer-based return to work experience or occupational rehabilitation experience is (Preferred but not required);
- Current Police Clearance and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain);
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal;
- Excellent time management skills;
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking & problem solving;
- Honesty, integrity, a good team attitude & positive approach; and
- Genuine commitment to continuous improvement.
