Primary Connect+ is the commercial arm of Primary Connect. Our customer-centric, technology-driven model delivers end-to-end supply chain solutions (international, warehousing, domestic transport and related services) for more than 1,300 food and retail customers.

**What you’ll do
- Ownership of total commodity portfolio and growth strategy
- Lead the design and delivery of new commercial strategies that generate business growth within established networks and new business partners across the network.
- Support the leadership team in establishing Primary Connect as a thought leader and trusted advisor within the retail and FMCG supply chain community.
- Lead the development of commodity growth strategy, including the identification, development, and conversion of new business opportunities
- driving sustainable growth
- Drive a customer-centric culture and account management approach to ensure an exceptional customer experience and strong organic growth and retention of existing customer portfolio
- Development of team to build capability and future talent; lead and coach the team to develop career pathways and personal development outcomes; drive a thriving team experience with a focus on team engagement, collaboration and connection
- Drive a high-performing, ambitious, and engaged team of business development and account management professionals

**What you’ll bring
- 7-10 years of Senior Leadership experience with an FMCG or similar background
- Experience in identifying and converting new business opportunities, ensuring sustainable commercial outcomes
- Commercial and/or Supply Chain experience and the demonstration of strategic thinking and execution
- Business acumen with an intuitive and applicable understanding of effective strategy & execution
- Collaborative leadership through a changing landscape in a fast-moving environment and with data-lead decision-making
- Well-developed influencing skills, with an understanding of how to create positive, sustainable change within our organisation
- Excellent communication skills, where you’ll develop and empower teams that are proactive, responsive, dynamic, engaging and agile
