**Position Description**:
A great opportunity for a driven and energetic Workplace Services Officer. The Workplace Services Officer will work onsite with the team in the Canberra CBD to ensure safe operations of the site, and provide on-site support to ensure effective day to day operations. The Workplace Services officer will undertake a variety of tasks to assist the office in managing its return to work strategy to bring employees back in a safe and effective way.

This position is with a Federal Government Department.

**Duties**:

- Support for managing traffic at foyers, at entry, near lifts, and stairwells

Provide advice on a broad range of Facilities Management services

Be accountable for Facilities Management activities and seek assistance when required

Assist in the provision of facilities management, accommodation and the purchase of workplace goods and services for clients

Manage client expectations by providing facilities and accommodation support including

Demonstrate sound knowledge of relevant legislation, APS and agency policy, procedures and processes

Actively participate in staff development and training activities of the area

Liaise, negotiate and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
