- The Health Information Services (HIS) Team ensures medical documentation is available on our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) to better optimise safe and timely patient care at the Royal Melbourne Hospital
**Your New Role**:
- Preparation, scanning and quality assurance of patient medical records
- Completing hospital ward rounds to collect notes in a timely manner for scanning
- Operate and maintain RMH systems, including:
- Patient Administration System (iPM)
- Digital medical record system Enterprise Content Management (ECM) system
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR-Epic)
- And any other relevant system used by Health Information Services
- Actioning release of information requests received by external organisations
- Filing and tracking of paper based medical records
**About You**:
- Medical Terminology knowledge
- Proficient PC skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent customer service skills
- Effective organizational and time management skills
- Previous experience with working within a health information service will be highly regarded
