Desktop Support Analyst

**Job Description**:
- Objectives-
Resolve incidents and service requests related to IT End-User services.
- Enable a standard, stable and robust desktop environment for users in the Bank.
- Improve the overall User Experience.
- Business analysis and reporting for desktop support.
- Transition of new services into production.
- Ensure security compliance through patching.
- Produce design, technical documentation, reports and records regarding infrastructure solutions.- Technical Capabilities-
Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet knowledge including formulas and calculations.
- Experience with the support of Microsoft desktop and server operating systems.
- Understanding of and experience with the desktop / server virtualisations infrastructure support experience.
- Understanding of best practice for procurement / asset management processes.
- Working knowledge of core Windows services and Directory Services.
- Understanding of mobile technologies.
- Experience in maintaining equipment in a technical environment.
- Strong history of completing tasks with mínimal supervision.
- Asset, inventory and stock taking experience.
- Understanding of network protocols such as TCP/IP.
- Sound knowledge of end user technologies such as Windows and Microsoft office to assist in support of these products.
- Working knowledge of Citrix and MDM (Mobile Device Management).- Qualifications-
Tertiary qualifications relevant to the Bank or IT industry or equivalent experience.
- Relevant industry accreditations (e.g. ITIL Certification, Microsoft Certification) that have been maintained to current levels, or are working towards within 12 months.Be More
