**What We’re Looking For**
We’re about to embark on a BIG re-platforming of our software, positioning it to WIN on a global scale. We’re looking for an experienced Sales Development Representative to join our team, specifically to help drive success in getting more clients interested in using our product to help them run their business more efficiently.
**You will be responsible for**:
- Contributing to new talk tracks and sequences to engage audiences.
- Qualifying leads and setting appointments for the sales team.
- Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of potential customers.
- Maintaining and updating accurate records of all sales activities in our CRM system.
- Contributing insights for sales and marketing strategies to develop and execute targeted sales campaigns.
- Achieving and exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Staying up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity.
- Continuously contributing to improving the sales process and demonstrating a willingness to learn and implement best practices.
- Tracking all opportunity and customer details, including use case, purchase time frames, next steps, and forecasting in CRM resulting in quality data and current pipeline forecasts.
- Previous experience in sales, ideally focusing on lead generation, outbound sales, and customer relationship management.
- Experience with B2B software systems.
- Experience in sales or business development roles, preferably in SaaS or within the AEC industry.
- A proven track record of hitting targets.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to connect with people and thrive in a growth-focused environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and CRM systems.
- A love for engaging with new people, handling rejection, and testing new approaches.
- The ability to work across local and remote teams.
**Although not absolutely necessary, a degree or experience in the AEC industry is preferred.**
**A few notes**:
- This is a hybrid role for those based in Sydney or Melbourne (we work from home and spend 2 days in the office).
