An exciting opportunity is currently available for a highly commercially led Product Manager to lead the development and growth of the bundles and retailing portfolio strategy for one of Australia's most loved airlines

**The Role**:
This role is a commercial leadership role within the Products and Ancillary Team reporting to the Senior Manager.
You will own the product with P&L accountabilities, development of the high-level strategic roadmap and leading a team of 3 x direct reports - specialists and analysts as well as large transformational and cross-functional projects dealing with multiple stakeholders.
You will be leading a continuous program of design and delivery, leading your team to use data and insights to make the right commercial and product design decisions which they then build and deliver to market.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- P&L accountabilities for bundles, including portfolio growth and delivery of performance in line with budgets.
- Lead, manage and build a high performing team of specialists and analysts.
- Lead and deliver transformational & cross-functional projects.
- Drive the use of insights & data to design new products.
- Bundles & Retailing portfolio strategy - developing roadmaps and initiatives to optimise and transform the bundles experience.
- Develop business cases to deliver against budget & KPIs.
- Ensure that bundles inclusions and value propositions are in line with our customer’s needs.
- Manage product levers including product, price, channels, merchandising/promotions, etc.
- Develop roadmaps with key stakeholder to integrate and test new dynamic retailing capabilities and Bundle’s platforms.
- Ensure pricing is optimised to drive incremental product take up and maximise profitability.
- Develop strategies that maximize customer basket size and increase profit.
- Take a test and learn approach to product and experience enhancements
**Key Requirements**:
Ideally within this role you will have the skill set to think commercially, lead a team of 3 x direct reports, plus have the capability to think analytically, plus have a firm eye on the financial numbers. In others words, a mini CEO mindset
- 4+ years’ commercial or digital experience preferred.
- Strong commercial & financial acumen and analytical skills.
- Self-Starter who enjoys problem solving and identifying opportunities.
- Leader who also works well autonomously with situational support from their manager.
- Experience in strategy development.
- Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills including excellent verbal, presentation and influencing skills to develop relationships across regions
- Strong problem solving and project management skills.
- A high-level understanding of agile methodology
- The ability to juggle multiple projects at the same time in a fast paced environment.
