Join us as a Senior Procurement Officer and become an essential part of the Procurement Services Group - the centralised procurement function for our client. As part of this team, you'll contribute to administering strategic procurement projects and managing contracts associated with high-value and high-risk procurement activities.

- Duration: Up to 6 months, with the potential for extension based on performance and business needs.
- A06 Equivalent $68 + p/h + superannuation

**About the role**
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to manage strategic procurement projects, ensuring adherence to risk, probity, and transparency standards.
- Provide top-tier procurement advice and services, covering procurement planning, sourcing documentation, evaluation processes, contract negotiation, contract management, and Category Management functions.
- Monitor and advise on financial, contract management, and procurement systems compliance in alignment with policies, procedures, and State Procurement Policy.
- Validate procurement processes through a Procurement Delegation for sourcing activities and ensure compliance with policies and the Queensland State Procurement Policy.
- Administer contracts in collaboration with Contract Managers, following the principles of the Queensland Government Contract Management Framework.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders for negotiation and consultation on procurement and contract-related matters to meet business needs and ensure timely compliance.

**Leadership Stream**

This role is categorised as an Individual Contributor within the leadership stream. You will be responsible for leading yourself and potentially contributing to team leadership, projects, or programs based on your expertise and capabilities.

**About You**
- Queensland Government end-to-end Procurement experience.
- Must have QITC experience.
- Must have Government Sourcing experience.
- Qualification: Highly desirable Queensland Government Level 3 Procurement Certification or equivalent.
- Technical/Operational/Educational Experience: Familiarity with SAP, Knowledge of Supply Chain Methodology, and/or Queensland Information Technology Contracting Framework is highly regarded.
- Must have full working rights in Australia.
