**About the Role**:
As a Content Design Officer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a range of creative production services. In this role you will design collateral for a wide variety of stakeholders, formats, and channels used by the department.

**You will be responsible for**:
Deliver customer-focused content on external websites, intranets and other online channels;
Promote and educate business areas on best-practice web writing, publishing processes and procedures;
Provide creative advice and direction on online content, accessibility requirements, in line with industry guidelines and whole-of-government website standards;
Manage timelines and deadlines, ensuring deliverables are on time and within budget;
Contribute to the continuous improvement of communication and engagement practices and procedures, and to ongoing content review;

Maintain knowledge of current and emerging trends, technologies and practices in visual communication.

**About U**:
This is an A06 level role, in order to be competitive you will have:
At least five years' experience in creative content design;
A relevant tertiary qualification in communication, or marketing research;
Demonstrated ability using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign);
Working knowledge of state government best practices and standards (preferable but not essential); and

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
