**About the Team**
Join the dynamic team at the Procurement and Corporate Services Branch, supporting various business areas by providing essential corporate, procurement, and property services. As part of our team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the efficient procurement of goods and services, adhering to strict regulations and policies to achieve value for money outcomes.
**About the Role**
As an APS5 Procurement Specialist, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of your workflow and make independent decisions within your area of responsibility. Your role will involve providing specialised policy advice, conducting research, analysis, and delivering procurement support to various departments within the organisation.
- Provide administrative support to the Procurement team, handling confidential information with discretion.
- Offer procurement advice and support to different departments within the organisation.
- Ensure compliance with procurement rules, policies, and procedures.
- Assist in tracking and reporting value for money outcomes against KPIs.
- Utilise data entry and manipulation skills to facilitate accurate reporting.
- Contribute to team and branch planning activities, identifying opportunities for improvement.
**About you**
To thrive in this role, you need:
- Intermediate proficiency in the MS Office Suite.
- Demonstrated experience managing high volume requests and multitasking effectively.
- Ability to remain composed in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Previous experience using HR and/or Finance business systems.
- Understanding of procurement or recruitment processes.
- Highly desirable: Understanding or lived experience of disability.
- Be able to pass and hold a national police check and worker screening check.
- Must be an **Australian Citizen.
