The Cancer Institute NSW is the NSW Government's cancer control agency, established to lessen the impact of cancer across the state. **_ What you'll be doing_**

This is an exciting role that provides opportunity to work across a diverse stakeholder group at all levels within the health system to drive better outcomes for cancer patients. The role is required to work collaboratively on projects within the Quality System Performance team and across the organisation to lead, facilitate, design and implement quality improvement and system engagement across cancer control services.

As part of the System Engagement Program and the Reporting for Better Cancer Outcomes Program, the team works across the organisation and with key external stakeholders including NSW Health Pillars, Ministry of Health, local health districts and primary health networks to drive the delivery of system improvement program strategies and understand variation and reduce unwarranted clinical variation.

**_Essential requirements_**
- Tertiary qualification and/or demonstrated experience and knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience in a project support officer role working with multiple projects and stakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrated experience in writing and reviewing project documentation such as, project scoping documents, briefs and other narratives.
- Understanding and experience in the health system and quality improvement methodologies would be desirable.

**_ Pre-screening questions_**
- Provide an example of a project, within the health sector, you have worked on successfully to completion. Detail the processes and methodology used, and project outcomes. Highlight any challenges faced and how you overcame them.
- Describe your skills and experience with engaging diverse stakeholders, including clinicians and senior-level stakeholders, both internal and external to the organisation. Highlight any challenges faced and how you overcame them.
