**_Project Coordinator - Tier 2 Commercial Construction - Melbourne VIC_**

This is a great opportunity for a Project Coordinator with at least 1-3 years of experience to secure a permanent position with a major commercial and civil head-contractor. Our client has recently been awarded two major community recreation projects in Melbourne worth $50m and $20m respectively. They require additional staff to help deliver these projects, both of which will complete in 2024.

**_About The Role_**
- Prepare documentation and presentation materials for pre-qualifications, tender of projects.
- Send out enquiries for prices of materials and subcontractors.
- Receive quotes from suppliers and subcontractors, tabulating their prices and ensuring they have covered all aspects of the enquiry with to regard to quantities, quality, timelines, and correct financials.
- Reporting on variations where necessary.
- Make recommendations on suppliers and subcontractors.
- Carrying out take offs and quantities.
- Preparing sketches, programmes, method statements and minor temporary designs for inclusions in the tender.
- Seeking information from Service Authorities and Councils on where assets may interfere with construction activities.
- Obtaining information/submissions such as HSEQ plans for inclusion in the tender, etc.
- Collating the tender/pre-qualification documentation prior to submission.
- Undertake any nominated items on the role and responsibilities matrix issued by the Project Manager.

**_ About You_**
- 1-3 years of exposure to major commercial new-build projects above $10m.
- Relevant tertiary qualification (Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Building Economics, etc.)
- Member of the Australian Institute of Building (or desire to become member)
- Self-sufficient, requiring limited supervision with focus on results.
- Competent in use of MS Office and relevant construction management software.
