**About the Role**
Are you looking to launch your career in sales? We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our Australian Capital Markets team at HotCopper and play a vital role in expanding The Market Link’s client base.
Working closely with the Perth Capital Market’s team and reporting directly to the Director of Business Development, you will be the first line of communication with potential clients and prospects. Your primary focus will be to identify, qualify and connect with a diverse range of ASX-listed companies, contributing directly to the growth of a successful pipeline.
**Day to day you will**:
- Source information and complete research on target prospects before outreach.
- Contact target prospects and discover and uncover their business needs.
- Manage incoming sales enquiries, qualify them, and advise them.
- Manage and maintain accurate data in the Customer Relationship Management system.
- Following up on deals and clients on behalf of the senior Business Development team.
- Provide general organisational and administrative support for sales initiatives and your team.
**About You**
- final-year graduate students, new graduates, or someone with a background in sales, retail and/or customer service is desirable but not required.
- be highly motivated, results-driven, and have a resilient mindset.
- have a customer-centric approach with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- have a strong work ethic, effective qualifying and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- be comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- have some experience in sales and lead generation. (ideal)
- possess some understanding of the capital markets and/or digital media industry (ideal).
This is a full-time position based in the Perth CBD.
**Compensation includes base salary + superannuation + a competitive commission structure.**
