About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales and Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team in Perth, WA. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and revenue through effective sales strategies and customer engagement.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join AGL's Perth Energy Team. You will be responsible for generating and executing B2B gas and electricity sales through the provision of accurate and timely information, advice, and proposals to prospective and existing SME customers on energy products and options that meet their business needs and align with our retail strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake all aspects of the sales process, including ongoing account management with existing and new business.
  • Identify, contact, and acquire new business with target customers in accordance with our retail strategy and KPIs through cold calling, client visits, and utilizing warm leads to ensure a strong pipeline of opportunities.
  • Populate CRM system, using internal systems to generate energy proposals, provide information, and reports on daily/weekly visits, calls, work activity, and results to the Manager of Key Accounts.

  • Exceptional experience working in a field sales role where you have built positive relationships and maximised networking event opportunities.
  • Highly organised and autonomous, with a track record of meeting targets in a corporate sales environment while maintaining exceptional customer service.
  • Commercial acumen, numeracy skills, and the ability to effectively convey information about energy products and commercial terms.
  • A valid WA Driver's Licence and own reliable car to travel in the Perth metro area to visit business customers, with associated business-related expenses covered by the company.
