**As Supervisor of the mail room you will**:

- Supervise and train the mailroom team and support the resolution of mail sorting issues.
- Monitor and maintain work volumes to ensure service level agreements are met and ensure the safety of the team.
- Liaise and consult with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain electronic desktop manuals to ensure procedures are kept current and relevant, that comply with quality assurance standards.
- Improve and maintain registers for data collection and reporting.
- Undertake manual handling by lifting and moving courier boxes up to 16 kg.
- Support the Manager and Senior Mail Officer by fostering a collaborative positive team environment.

**To be successful in this role, ideally you will**:

- have supervisory experience,
- be proactive,
- have good communication skills, and
- model professional, ethical and culturally sensitive behaviour.
