**Temporary Full time up to 6 months with a possibility of extension**

**Clerk Grade 11/12 Salary - $139,787 - $161,663 pa, plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading**

**Your role**

Lead the Strategy and Policy (Procurement) team to deliver a range of services to support and guide the optimal performance and delivery of Procurement services across the Department and the Portfolio.

**What you’ll do**

As a Manager, Strategy and Policy (Procurement) within the Finance and Procurement division, you will be leading a team of 4-5 staff, your role will include:

- Strategy and risk
- Policy
- Capability and Training
- Project Management

You will be part of the Procurement leadership team to drive procurement excellence and capability uplift across the Department. Your day-to-day role includes ensuring the Procurement team and the Department has the most up to date information on procurement policy, compliance and current procurement initiatives. You will keep up to date with people, processes and systems in procurement to meet your deliverables. You will also oversee or manage a number of procurement projects including PaTH and the new eTender system (implemented by DCS).

- Experience with procurement
- Flexible, fast learner
- Worked with diverse range of stakeholder including Executive
- Experience working with legislation and policy (procurement preferred, but not essential)
- Project experience
