**Your role**

This role is an opportunity for a committed project and policy professional to contribute to the development of an emerging domestic and family violence (DFV) perpetrator interventions sector through supporting sector development initiatives.

**What you’ll do**

The Women, Family and Community Safety (WFCS) Directorate leads on policy, program and project responses relating to domestic, family, and sexual violence.

As a part of the DFV Perpetrators Intervention team you will contribute to the implementation of the NSW Government’s Men’s Behaviour Change Program (MBCP) program of work. This includes the NSW Government MBCP Practice Standards and Compliance Framework, MBCP program funding and sector development initiatives.

You’ll use your project, policy, critical thinking and contract management skills to deliver projects and initiatives to support building sector capacity and delivery of best practice DFV perpetrator interventions.

**What we’re looking for**
- Understanding of the criminal justice system as it relates to domestic violence and/or the domestic violence service system.
- Experience with the contract management and delivery of programs and initiatives that support the domestic violence service sector.
- Project management and related administrative skills to support project delivery and policy development including, sound written communication skills, critical thinking skills and a proven ability to identify and manage risks effectively and maintain appropriate record keeping.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as social work, domestic violence, law, psychology, sociology or criminology, or equivalent level experience.
