**The Role**
Make a difference in our community

Due to an internal promotion, an opportunity has opened for a passionate communicator to join the City of Whittlesea’s Communications and Engagement Team. Help us bring to life our Whittlesea 2040 community vision of a place for all.

Reporting to the Unit Manager Communications, this position will provide specialised, proactive strategic communication and issues management advice to departments within Council as well as developing and executing communications plans to strengthen, maintain and protect the City of Whittlesea’s reputation.

**About you**
- Tertiary qualifications in Communications or a relevant discipline combined with relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience in leading the delivery of high-quality communications.
- Demonstrated experience providing strategic communications advice, planning and execution.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
