**The Client**

One of Australia's government departments is seeking Cloud specialist to join the team.

**The Role**

As one of our Infrastructure / Cloud Specialists, you will join the Infrastructure & Integration team in maintaining the client’s network operating system environment and the design and implementation of improvements to IT infrastructure.

Working closely with other IT operations staff, project teams and vendors you will ensure that changes to the infrastructure environment reflect relevant security and other industry standards, are aligned to the client’s strategies and policies, and are implemented consistently and effectively.

They are looking for a team player with extensive (minimum 5 years) relevant industry experience and qualifications.

To succeed in this role you will be a proactive and strategic problem solver. You will also be an excellent communicator, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple terms.

**Key Responsibilities**

To be successful in the position you must have demonstrated experience in the following critical areas:

- Virtualization technologies - VMware vSphere 6.x.
- Microsoft AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, ADFS, Powershell.
- MS Windows server 2012 and above.
- Identity and Access Management.
- Cloud services (O365, Azure, AWS).

Highly Desirable:

- Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM).
- Microsoft SQL server.
- Cisco Unified Communications Manager.
- EMC Networker.
- Microsoft SCCM.
- Citrix Xenapp, Xenmobile, Netscaler.
- Netapp SAN storage.
- Backup technologies - Dell EMC Networker, Data Domain.
- Microsoft Exchange.
- Microsoft SCCM and Intune
- SOE development and deployment.
- Networking administration - TCPIP, WAN, LAN, Firewall, Load Balancing.
- Cisco routing and switching.
- Solarwinds monitoring.
- Server hardware.
