**What You Will Be Doing**

The Purchasing Officer will be responsible for managing the procurement of goods, services, and equipment necessary to support Peninsula Health's operations. This role ensures that purchasing activities are cost-effective, efficient, and compliant with relevant policies and regulations. The Purchasing Officer will work closely with suppliers, internal departments, and stakeholders to secure high-quality products and services that meet the Peninsula Health's requirements and standards.

Position Description

**What You Need**

We anticipate you will have:

- Proven experience as a Purchasing Officer or in a similar role
- Proficiency in using procurement software, such as FMIS (Oracle) or similar platforms
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Suite of Programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience in administrative support
- Experience in high volume supply environment
- A tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or similar (desirable)
- Experience using Oracle (desirable)
- Knowledge and/or experience in Health sector (desirable)

**Additional Requirements**
- Please refer to Health and Allied Services, Managers And Administrative Workers (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2025 salary circular for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
