**About the role**

Reporting to the Purchasing Superintendent, the primary purpose of this role is to ensure effective communications are maintained with all stakeholders through the management of the Purchasing Inbox whilst supporting the Purchasing function with management of back orders, expediting, QM investigations, Order confirmations, data validation and leave coverage.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage the Purchasing inbox, ensuring that all queries or communications are actioned in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with the resolution of Supplier generated queries which could include, pricing, shipping, part numbers, oversupply or other general queries
- Assist with the resolution of internal generated queries which could include, requisition prioritisation, expediting, connotes, PO amendments or cancelations
- Assist the Accounts Payable team with PO amendments, receipting support and stop credits requiring purchasing support
- Facilitate the Quality Management process by distributing investigation requirements amongst the team
- Process back orders by escalating to Purchasing Officers or updating Purchase Order details
- Facilitate credit card payment request where Virtual Credit Cards cannot be used
- Provide support and training as required for the Coupa P2P system
- Ensure professional relationship with key stakeholders and suppliers are maintained at all times
- Ensure the appropriate level of governance is applied to all activities

**What you’ll bring to the team**
- Previous experience in an Administration role in a mining environment
- Exposure to Supply chain management
- Previous experience with Procure to Pay (P2P) systems
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to adhere to process and efficiently communicate in a professional manner to stakeholders
